2025 NFL mock draft roundup: Where experts predict Ohio State stars will go

Multiple Ohio State players are projected to be selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, with offensive tackle Josh Simmons leading the way despite an injury-shortened season. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and offensive lineman Donovan Jackson are also receiving first-round consideration.

Simmons was a lock to be a top-10 pick early on in 2024 and potentially the first tackle off the board before a season-ending knee injury suffered against Oregon mid-season. If healthy, he should be a first-round pick.

Ohio State Well-Positioned to Tie Record for Most Draft Picks in One Year in 2025 NFL Draft

Despite winning the national championship, Ohio State doesn't have any sure-fire first-round locks. However, Josh Simmons, who suffered a season-ending injury, remains the Buckeyes' best chance at continuing their streak of top-11 picks. Emeka Egbuka and Donovan Jackson have also boosted their draft stock significantly during Ohio State's championship run.

Oddly enough, the Buckeye who has the best chance of continuing that streak might be one who didn't even play in the College Football Playoff. Despite suffering a season-ending knee injury in Ohio State's sixth game of the season at Oregon in October, Josh Simmons is widely projected as Ohio State's first draft pick.
